อัมบูยัต (Ambuyat) จัดเป็นอาหารประจำชาติ ที่มีชื่อเสียงที่สุดของประเทศบรูไน ดารุสซาลาม มีลักษณะคล้ายข้าวต้ม หรือโจ๊ก มีส่วนผสมของแป้งสาคูเป็นหลัก โดยทั่วไปอัมบูยัต คือ อาหารที่รับประทานแทนข้าว โดยจะมีอาหารจานหลักและเครื่องเคียงอย่างน้อย 3 อย่าง วางอยู่โดยรอบ
Ambuyat is considered the most popular delicacy in Brunei. It is made from sago and eaten by dipping a serving in a hot and thick sauce called cacah. Ambuyat, in replacement of rice, is served with a minimum of three main and side dishes.
